Seder Service

This year’s Good Friday Service will be a “Seder” Service. A Seder is a ritual feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish holiday of Passover, commemorating the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt. It was during the celebration of Passover that Jesus redefined some of the elements from the Passover meal, interpreting them in light of His impending death on the cross. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this service will not include a meal, but will follow the traditional pattern of the Seder, as remembering God’s liberation of the Israelites from slavery and ultimately the salvation He provides through Jesus’ death & resurrection.
